Sarah J. (fully vaccinated) graduated from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in 2007 with a diploma in massage therapy. The comprehensive 1,000 hour program included classes in Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Massage, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, and Prenatal Massage in addition to introductory training in Shiatsu, Tui Na, Ortho-bionomy and other bodywork modalities. Since graduating, Sarah has completed continuing education courses in cranio sacral therapy with master teacher Etienne Piersman in Santa Fe, NM as well as the Four Elements Hot Stone massage course with Lili Gill in Charlottesville, VA.

While living and working in Charlottesville, VA Sarah became interested in holistic skin care. She found facial and body treatments to be an excellent compliment to massage therapy and completed the Esthetics program at the American Spirit Institute in Richmond, VA in 2013. She became certified in microdermabrasion and advanced peeling techniques (chemical peels) in Columbus, OH in 2016.

Fifteen years into her career as a massage therapist, Sarah remains passionate about helping people feel better, maintain well being, and access preventative care via massage and bodywork. She thoroughly enjoys providing facial services and talking with clients about skin care and how to address imbalances and specific skin care concerns.

Kearney graduated from the National Institute of Massotherapy in 2007 and has been changing lives in the field of Massage Therapy ever since. Before Bodhi Tree she worked in both clinical and spa settings. She prides herself on the ability to treat each client individually according to their specific goals and customizes her treatments to target the areas of concern. She has a strong background in Deep Tissue and Relaxation massage, Medical Massage, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage (Pre and Post Event), Ayurvedic Head Massage, Shirodara, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Hot Stone. 

In 2017 she obtained her certification for the Graston Technique which is a form of IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization). More info on GT can be found in our services menu. Please feel free to email with any questions you have regarding this technique. 

She is passionate about helping clients who have been unsuccessful in finding relief through various other treatment methods, those currently in pain management and the vast majority of our society dealing with chronic muscular pain and fatigue. 

Science in our field is ever changing and she is dedicated to staying up to date on all things massage therapy related, educating clients on the different modalities she uses during her sessions and why each is helpful in its own way. 

Her goal is for everyone to leave her treatments feeling better physically and spiritually, plus you’ll smell fantastic because she loves to incorporate a variety of essential oils into each session. 

After 18 years practicing she is still enthusiastic about each and every massage she gives and is humbled by the opportunity to help and heal others through her intuitive approach. Mind, body and soul are all connected and she looks forward to talking with you about how Massage Therapy can be a solution for dealing with pain, chronic stress and anxiety.

Nori (fully vaccinated) is passionate about providing client-focused therapeutic massage, working with each client for an individually tailored experience through deep listening before and throughout every session. She has experience working in a chiropractic environment and is board certified in cupping through the International Cupping Therapy Association. Drawing from classic Swedish relaxation and deep tissue techniques as well as medical massage modalities such as joint capsule release, muscle energy technique, myofascial release, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, Nori provides uniquely soothing sessions that combine her broad range of experience with deeply focused and intentional intuition and reverent care.

Marissa (fully vaccinated) graduated from Tri-C's massage therapy program in 2016 shortly after getting her bachelor's degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University. Her belief in mind-body wellness guides her practice and her mission is to bring that to clients through her massage. Marissa uses a fusion of long, sweeping lomilomi style forearm strokes, which feel like waves rolling along the body, and myofascial release and trigger point therapy. This mixture of techniques is perfect for the client who loves a deep massage, but does not want it to be painful or uncomfortable. Her ultimate goal is for everyone she has the honor of massaging to leave their appointment feeling relaxed, renewed and at peace.

Along with Swedish and deep tissue massage, Marissa especially loves to work on mamas-to-be with prenatal massage, and she plans on adding more of Bodhi Tree's services in the future.

Dawn (fully vaccinated) is a 2013 graduate of Harmony Path School of Massage Therapy. She is also a certified Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master. Bodywork and Energy work are combined in all of Dawn's sessions. The skilled blending of these complementary modalities provides Dawn's clients with a blissful, balanced state of physical and mental relaxation and rejuvenation. Dawn loves providing clients with Bodhi Tree's Shirodhara Massage treatment and signature Body Treatments.

Tracy has been a licensed massage therapist since 2003 after studying at the National Institute of Massotherapy. She has worked in many different settings from spas to chiropractic clinics using techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Tracy’s strengths are neck and upper back massage, foot work, and deep tissue massage. She has certifications in several modalities including reflexology, cupping, and Reiki. Her relaxation and therapeutic skills offer pain relief and stress relief as part of a whole wellness and body maintenance program. Tracy has a passion for massage therapy, authentically cares about the bodies she is trusted to work on, and strives to be a thorough therapist who continually grows and improves her skills.

Maureen (fully vaccinated) has been a licensed massage therapist since 2009 focusing on relaxing mind and body. She is a reiki practitioner and enjoys offering Shirodhara and prenatal massages to her guests. Maureen is also an esthetician practicing since 2012 with dermaplaning and lash lift and brow lamination training. Maureen is trained in facial cupping, a beneficial add on to any facial for a face "lift" appearance - great for before a big event.

Karen (vaccinated) is a California native and graduate of UC Berkeley with a BS in Anatomy and Physiology. Two years into medical school, Karen realized that her true passion was the hands-on practice of massage therapy. For 25 years Karen has enjoyed every minute of working with clients in this practice.

6 years ago, she delved into the healing art of skincare and found facials to be another holistic offering that she loves to do. Karen's favorite type of bodywork to do is Traditional/ floor Thai massage. She studied Thai massage with Lotus Palm school at Kripalu Institute, where she had a life changing experience.

Outside of work, Karen's hobbies include paddleboarding, hiking, baking, gardening and riding her motorcycle. Any service with Karen is an experience in loving, healing care and she looks forward to working with you at Bodhi Tree!

Natasha graduated from the Northcoast Medical Training Academy in Kent, OH in 2021. She promptly became licensed as a Massage Therapist by the State Medical Board of Ohio, and was promptly hired at Bodhi Tree based on her superb intuitive style of massage.

Having spent over a decade in an entirely different career, Natasha is often asked why she chose to pursue a career in therapeutic massage, and her confident answer is that she truly feels it is a path that chose her. This type of work is a calling for many of us who practice it, and Natasha is no exception to that. Her passion for helping people heal is evident in her sessions.

Natasha has learned a lot thus far on her journey regarding her intuition as a bodyworker and the depth of profound healing that can happen with massage, far deeper than muscle tension and knots. She strives with every client and every session to create an open, relaxing space and bring her clients peace and needed release.

Natasha offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Hot Stone Massage sessions as well as Shirodhara and Ayurvedic Head Massage having completed the Ayurvedic training for Bodhi Tree through Wild Earth Ayurveda (formerly Green Lotus Ayurveda) of Columbus, OH. She has built a following of regular clients at Bodhi Tree and is always happy to welcome clients new to Bodhi Tree or new to massage.

Lydia (vaccinated) graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage in April of 2023 and obtained her license from the State Medical Board. She joined Bodhi Tree that same month and we have been delighted to have her!

Lydia previously trained as a yoga teacher and currently offers several weekly classes including restorative, vinyasa, ashtanga and yin(yang) yoga. She also previously trained as an equine sports massage therapist at Equissage in Round Hill, VA.

Lydia offers a very therapeutic session, working intuitively, with how the muscles feel under her hands and with her strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to help the body on her table release tension, increase range of motion where limited and overall feel much better (lighter, freer, - much improved!)

Lydia offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shirodhara and Ayurvedic Head Massage sessions and would love to see you on the table at Bodhi Tree.

Katie has been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. She studied at the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Shirodhara, and Ayurvedic Head Massage. She believes in helping people heal from the inside out while creating a space where they can relax and reset. 

With a strong yet intuitive touch, she likes to focus on the neck, shoulders, and back, areas known to hold the most tension. Ayurvedic Head Massage is one of her favorite services to offer for its ability to calm and quiet the mind. Everyone carries their own stress, so she’s always mindful of how her touch can make a difference. Her main goal is for every client to feel cared for and walk out feeling a little lighter than when they came in. 

Katie’s passion for healing runs deep, so she’s expanding her knowledge to care for others in ways beyond massage therapy. No matter the setting, her focus is always on helping others feel their best.  

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her children, practicing yoga, and unwinding with a good TV show.   

Jessica graduated from Tri-C's massage therapy program in 2013. She is known for her firm pressure, deep tissue massage work and her clinical therapy and anatomy based approach. Jessica loves providing moms to be with prenatal massage and seeing clients for manual lymphatic drainage massage. She can incorporate cupping into any massage session, and is trained and very experienced in Bodhi Tree's Ayurvedic Head Massage and Shirodhara sessions. Jessica continues to enjoy helping clients find release and relief through massage therapy, and would love to see you on the table at Bodhi Tree. 

Fatimah graduated from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in 2011, where she developed a deep love and appreciation for holistic approaches to health and healing. She has experience in working in a clinical and spa settings. 

Her own experience with Generalized Anxiety Disorder has enabled her to become a better therapist to all clients she works with, blending therapeutic skills with effective stress relief. She believes that Massage Therapy is her true calling and is honored to provide relief and professionalism to every client.

Fatimah specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage and Myofascial Release. She is passionate about educating clients on how the body works and how to alleviate pain/soreness between sessions. 

Her hobbies include: Collecting plants, going to art galleries, dining out, and spending time with family.
